Art Journaling, preserving memories, and my favorite little travel journal - part 4 of 4.

Posted: Nov 24 2015

It’s here, it’s here! I got back from my trip to Paris and Morocco early October, and finally have a moment to document the essence of what I experienced on the trip.

I believe in taking photos of the landscape, people, places, and inspiration pieces to capture what I’m seeing during my travels.  By using my art journal, I am able to capture my impressions, inspirations and even what I’m feeling each day.  This is is even more powerful for me.

I used a small journal with thick pages that could absorb watercolor, ink pens, paint pens, and plenty of ephemera and washi tape.  Materials used: torn paper, ephemera, glue stick, washi tape, gel pens, watercolors, magazine images, maps, street posters, business cards, feathers.

This video is captured from my Instagram feed as I am learning to edit and post videos here, there & everywhere.  My hubby filmed it in “Time Lapse” on my iPhone,  it was edited in “Flipagram”, then posted to “Instagram” for this 15 second clip.
